Save the date, Scots Parents!

Children do best when parents and carers are able to reclaim their self-awareness and role clarity. The Parent Hope Project aims to build parent confidence to be the best resource for their children’s wellbeing. It will help parents and caregivers answer these questions with calmness and clarity:

Please join us for morning tea with Dr. Jenny Brown who will share with us the principles behind the Parent Hope Project. There will be time for a Q&A session, opportunities to connect with fellow Scots parents and access to additional Parent Hope Project Resources.

Author of Growing Yourself Up, Confident Parenting, Parenting with Clarity and Helplessness to Hope: Facilitating Parents’ Agency in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Dr Jenny Brown has over 35 years of experience in child, couple, and family health. Her primary clinical and research interest has been in child and adolescent mental health and parent’s involvement in treatment. This has been reflected in her publications, conference and workshop presentations, and her PhD research on parents’ experience of their child’s mental health treatment. The Parent Hope Project has been developed from this critical research.
