Scots is fully committed to our denomination’s policy on Child Protection, “Breaking The Silence (BTS)“. In accordance with the BTS policy, our Leadership Group (Session) has added some additional local rules that reflect our particular context. All those involved in ministry with children and all leaders (whether serving in an area that involves children or not) must be accredited as per the BTS guidelines – this includes a current verified Working With Children Check, regular training and extensive reference checks.
