Hub Groups

Grow and belong at Scots Church

Hub groups are smaller groups that meet mid-week.

What is Hub?

Hub groups are small groups which gather to read the Bible together. We want our Hub groups to be safe places where we help one another grow as followers of Jesus by prayerfully and honestly applying the Bible to our lives.

We want Hub groups to be a place where people can ask questions, raise doubts, share struggles, and talk positively and creatively about how to apply the gospel to specific areas of life, as well as challenge each other in concrete ways, pray specifically for one another, laugh and weep together!

What to expect

Unlike churches in the suburbs, our groups meet to eat together and then break into fixed Hub groups for discussion. People bring their own dinner and eat with one another. Dinner provides opportunities for people to connect with a larger and more diverse group of people than just their Hub group. After dinner, the groups provide the opportunity to go deep with a more intimate sized group. Our groups finish by 8pm, so that people have time to get home and prepare for the next day of work.
